Melbourne Airport Limo | Safe & Personalized Airport Transfer Service

If you’re traveling for business or pleasure, airport transportation service can often be the most stressful part of your trip. You have to find the right pick-up location, decide on how you want to get there and then deal with paying the fare before you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Instead of dealing with that anxiety, why not leave it to the professionals? Airport limo services are explicitly designed to make travel as simple as possible.

What Makes Airport Limo Better than Taxi Service?

If you haven’t yet tried using an airport limo service, here are some of the many benefits of using an airport limo service over taxis.

The Rates Are All-Inclusive

When you use an airport limo service, the rates are all-inclusive. You don’t have to fret about surge pricing or hidden fees. The quoted price is what you’ll pay – no surprises.

Fewer Security Hassles

When you use an airport limo service, there are fewer security hassles and waiting times associated with checking in and boarding the plane.

Your driver will wait at the arrivals area after landing, so there’s no need to search for them while lugging around heavy bags. As soon as you exit the terminal, they’ll be right there to pick you up.

No Need to Handle Heavy Luggage

There’s no need to handle heavy luggage with airport limousine service. Your chauffeur will handle it and store it in the car’s trunk. What more could you ask for?

More Professional Service

You’re assured of more professional service than a taxi. The drivers are usually more experienced, better trained, and more likely to be familiar with the area. They also generally have nicer cars, which can make a big difference if you’re traveling for business.

Optimum Comfort and Cleanliness

Get a comfortable and clean ride. With taxi services, you never know what kind of vehicle you’ll get or how clean it will be. With a limo service, you can choose the type of vehicle you want and know that it will be clean and comfortable.

Hassle-Free Reservations

You can make your reservation in advance when you use an airport limousine service. This means that you don’t have to worry about trying to hail a cab when you’re already stressed out from travel. Plus, you can be sure your limo will be there on time to pick you up.

Creates Positive Impression

You may be confident that you’ll arrive in luxury and comfort by using an airport limo car service. It makes a lot better first impression, for starters. The last thing you want to do is arrive in a run-down old taxi when you’re meeting someone for the first time or trying to make a good impression on a customer.

Professional Chauffeurs

Professional chauffeurs with experience delivering clients to their destinations on schedule and in comfort work as part of a decent airport limo car service. They’ll be familiar with the city’s layout, traffic patterns, and shortcuts to get you there as quickly as possible. Additionally, they deliver a pleasant ride so you can unwind and arrive after your flight feeling refreshed.

What Makes M&M Ridez Airline Limousine Your Best Option?

We will tell you everything you need to know about the Melbourne airport transfers service. These include what to do when you arrive, where to go, different types of transfers available, and how much it costs.

About Melbourne airport

Location

Melbourne International Airport, also known as Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, sits 23 km northwest of Melbourne city centre. Tullamarine Airport is one of Australia’s largest airports, only second to Sydney Airport.

Terminals

Melbourne Airport has four terminals comprising 53 domestic gates and 15 international gates.

Terminal 1: It’s primarily for domestic flights for Qantas Group airlines

Terminal 2: Accommodates all international flights

Terminal 3: It’s a domestic terminal and home to Virgin Australia

Terminal 4: Terminal 4 handles budget domestic flights. This terminal is for Jetstar Airways and Regional Express Airlines.

On a side note, all terminals are within walking distance. Hence, you won’t need a bus to travel from one terminal to another.

Flights

At present, Melbourne Airport offers direct flights to 33 states and territories of Australia. What’s more, it offers numerous flights to Asia, Oceania, North America, Europe, and Africa.

Overall, it operates 33 airlines to and from 55 destinations.

The biggest airlines include:

  • Qantas
  • Jetstar Airways
  • Air New Zealand
  • Virgin Australia
  • Regional Express Airlines

Passengers

As of March 2022, Melbourne Airport had a passenger figure of 205,711 and 1516539  for international and domestic flights, respectively.

In comparison, it had passenger figures of 10787 and 980364 for international and domestic flights, respectively, as of June 2021. This represents 1807% growth for passenger figures on international flights and 55% for domestic flights.

Facilities

Hotels

Melbourne Airport has five hotels: Park Royal Hotel, Holiday Inn, Ibis Budget, Quest Melbourne Airport, and Mantra Tullamarine.

Medical

The airport is home to Melbourne Airport Health (T1) which offers a full range of general medical services. In addition to that are the Airport Pharmacy (T1) and Amcal Pharmacies (T1, T2, and T4).

ATMs

There are ATMs throughout the Melbourne Airport.

Shower & Toilets

Melbourne Airport has toilet facilities in all four terminals. Also, it has showers in terminal 2 toilets.

Besides the above facilities, Melbourne Airport also offers change facilities for babies and adults, a children’s play area, and massage.

Travel route to Melbourne City and suburb

The most direct way to the city centre is through the Tullamarine Freeway, a 20-35 minutes drive depending on the traffic. However, taking this route means you’ll have to incur tolls.

Alternatively, you can take the Western Ring Road and not have to worry about tolls. This route, however, will take about 10 minutes longer. Nonetheless, the grand view of the city from the Westgate Bridge is worth the trouble.

Melbourne Airport transfer options & cost

The main transport options in Melbourne Airport transfer service include:

Private Driver/Chauffeur Car Services

Choose chauffeur service for the best Melbourne airport transfers.

Private transfer services in Melbourne are not only convenient, but they’re also a safe and reliable way to travel. When you hire professional drivers, you know you’ll arrive at your destination in style and comfort with competitive rates.

Our Chauffeur will be using a flight tracking service and they’ll meet and greet you in the terminal arrivals hall chauffeur pickup point upon flight arrival, help with the luggage at the baggage claim area, and offer child seats on the booking request. Also, with a chauffeur Service, you’ll benefit from a complimentary waiting time and choose a luxury car that suits your style.

The cost of a private airport transfer will vary depending on the type of car, the length of time they’ll be driving you, and their hourly rate.

However, on average, expect to pay at least $75 for private airport transfers in Melbourne.

Taxi

Melbourne Airport taxi offers rides at $60 for up to four people, including a compulsory airport fee. On peak hour airport travel you may have to be in  Melbourne airport taxi queues.

Melbourne Airport Shuttle Services

SkyBus shuttle bus service is also an option depending on your location and provides fast airport transfers to Melbourne city. Tickets are $20 one-way for adults.

Currently, it operates six airport shuttle bus services:

•          Melbourne City Express.

•          Southbank Docklands Express

•          St Kilda Express

•          Peninsula Express

•          Western Express

•          Eastern Express

Rideshare

Melbourne Airport also partners with taxi share companies such as REDY2GO, Uber, and Other rideshare companies.

Rideshare services cost anywhere from $55 to Melbourne city centre. However, the price tends to skyrocket at peak hours. For instance, Uber can charge up to $120 or more due to surge pricing.

Why private Chauffeur Service is your best option?

Reliability

A lot can go wrong when you’re on the road. So, it’s best to have a chauffeur service who knows what they are doing.

Well, a chauffeur will care about your safety and comfort as much as they care about their reputation. Plus, chauffeur companies only hire the best drivers with the proper licensing and insurance.

Value for money

Nobody wants to spend more than they need to. So why should you?

Hiring a chauffeur Service ensures you’re getting the most out of your money. It’s convenient and with luxurious amenities.

In addition, chauffeur service offers luggage services, making your travels even easier! The best part? You also get to choose the type of vehicle you want  Standard Sedan, European Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan or People Movers for your Airport transfers.

Punctuality

Have you ever had a Taxi/Rideshare who was late for pick up? Your time is valuable and shouldn’t be wasted.

With the chauffeur service for airport transfers, you don’t have to wait. Unlike public transport, Taxi/Rideshare or shuttle service, you can book ahead or on-demand, whenever you like. You’ll never have to wait for a driver again! In addition, they’re available 24/7 for your convenience – 365 days a year!

Cost-effective on peak hours travel To Melbourne Airport.

Chauffeured airport transfer services have rates that are cheaper than most airport transportation services.

Uber and other rideshares can be up to 4 times more expensive than a chauffeur service during peak hours due to surge pricing. And that’s just during peak hours! You may also find yourself paying more for rideshare if you’re not in a major city.

Conclusion

There are a ton of reasons to choose M&M Ridez luxury chauffeur services as your trusted and reliable  Melbourne airport transfers partner. RISING Art Festival: Victoria’s Newest Major Event

RISING, Melbourne’s biggest arts festival is back. And this time around, bigger and better! The festival reawakens the city on the first night of winter with a 12- day extravaganza of immersive art, live music, food, and culture.

It’s just a few years in the making. Yet, this newest festival in Victoria’s cultural calendar brings together more than 225 events. Most happenings are specific to Melbourne. Nevertheless, it incorporates both local and international artists for performances that will inspire and challenge in equal measure.

The RISING festival offers something for every taste and age—from daring works and unique food events to free family events. And that doesn’t even count the incredible lineup of DJs spinning on top of everything else going on around them.

About The RISING

The RISING is Victoria’s newest major event. The festival was announced in May 2020, but it wasn’t until 2021 that it was inaugurated. RISING takes the place of Melbourne International Arts Festival and White Night, which had their final run in 2019. (en.wikipedia.org)

The 2020 and 2021 festivals were delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, organizers have high hopes this time around. The 2022 event, for instance, is expected to host 225 events featuring works from more than 800 local and international artists.

Co-artistic directors Gideon Obarzanek and Hannah Fox lead the event.

Venues

RISING is a city-wide event with multiple venues. With tons of shows across town and new acts coming in every day, it can be difficult to know which events to prioritize. Here are some of the best venues in Melbourne to catch a show at this year’s festival.

Program Details: How To Explore

The RISING festival can be quite tricky to get your head around. Here’s how to explore the program and find what you’re looking for.

Filter the program by artform (performing arts and visual art), accessibility, and experience. Choose from different art forms, including dance, music, and theatre. Accessibility options include wheelchair access, assisted listening, Auslan translation, and more. Experience types include exhibitions, food, outdoor, free, and family-friendly.

How To Book

Here’s how you can book your tickets and make sure you get there on time!

Online (Official RISING Website)

You can book online through the RISING website. Simply select the event you wish to attend and follow the prompts.

Phone

You can book your tickets by giving them a call. But you can try emailing if they’re experiencing an influx of calls. They’ll be happy to help you with all your ticketing needs.

In-Person

The easiest way to book your tickets is in person at the box office (Federation Square, just opposite Flinders Street Station). This way, you can avoid any fees, and you’re guaranteed to get the tickets you want. To do this, simply head to the box office on the day of the event and purchase your tickets.

Plan Your Visit

If you’re planning on coming to the Melbourne RISING Festival, there are a few things you need to consider.

First, find somewhere to stay. There are plenty of accommodation options in the city. So whether you’re looking for a hotel, hostel, or Airbnb, you’re sure to find something that suits your needs.

Secondly, think about how you’ll get around. The festival is spread out across Melbourne CBD and urban neighborhoods, which means it can be difficult to cover with just one mode of transport.

Transportation Options

Public transport

RISING aims to provide a sustainable festival. So, if safe and viable, choose public transport.

Public transport provides the cheapest way to get to the RISING festival. Buses, trains, and trams will all be running on their regular schedules.

However, ensure you check the times and routes before you travel, so you don’t miss your stop! We also recommend that you allow plenty of time for connections in case of delays and any potential crowds.

The best advice is to try and avoid traveling at peak hours when possible, as this may lead to longer waiting times at bus stops or train stations.

The tram is the best for getting around the city of three public transport options. And if you’re lucky, you can catch the First Peoples Art Tram. Also, the tram is free in Melbourne CBD. Other Melbourne free tram zones are Queen Victoria market to Docklands, Flinders Street Station, Federation Square, and Spring Street.

Other Options: Rideshare, Taxi, & Chauffeur service

There are plenty other options for getting to and from the Melbourne RISING Festival.

If you’re looking for a cheap ride with a guaranteed seat, try Rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft. However, you might incur surge pricing in peak hours.

The Australian Moto Grand Prix: A Thrilling Race to the Finish

Catch it all as man and machine push it to the limits at the world’s most difficult MotoGP track, the 4.5 km Phillip Island circuit. With daring moves and an unpredictable outcome, this thrilling 3-day event is one of the best Australian Moto Grand Prix races of all time!

The race is known for its high-speed danger and intricate racing tactics. And with many close calls and near misses, it makes for an exciting experience for spectators and riders alike. It’s not just about who’s got the best bike; it’s about who can read their competitors’ minds and anticipate their moves first.

If you like speed, adrenaline, and entertainment, the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is the place to be! Here’s what you need to know regarding this year’s Australian Moto Grand Prixrace before heading out to the venue or tuning in from home!

Australian  MotoGP Date

The Australian Grand Prix motorcycle racing season kicks off in earnest in late October. Each year, it’s a highlight on the international racing calendar, and riders prepare months in advance to get ready for it.

The 2020 and 2021 MotoGP World Championship got canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, MotoGP will be returning to Australia after a 2-year hiatus. The 2022 race promises an amazing event with intense competition between the world’s best riders.

Venue

Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is easily the most technical and picturesque track on the MotoGP calendar. The island is located just off the southeastern coast of Australia, about 120 kilometers from Melbourne.

The track was first used for Grand Prix racing in 1989 and has been a regular fixture on the MotoGP calendar since 1997. With its fast and flowing layout, Phillip Island is a favorite among riders and fans alike.

The elevation changes and wind exposure make this circuit so challenging. Even though it’s only 4.5 km long, twelve corners challenge even the most experienced rider.

But don’t let the technical nature of this circuit fool you; with some luck, you could end up following racers down the 900-meter Gardner Straight at over 280km/h!

How To Get There

To get there, you can fly into Melbourne Airport and then take a connecting flight to Phillip Island Airport. However, there are only a handful of flights per day.

You can also take a train from Flinders Street, Melbourne to Stony Point, and then catch a bus or taxi to Phillip Island. Or you can save time by taking a train from Flinders Street to Dandenong, then catch a bus to Phillip Island the Ventnor Beach Road/Gap Road.

Also, you can make the whole trip by bus (Lines 907 and 901). Catch bus line 907 at Swanston St/Lonsdale St to Mitcham Station/Colombo St. Then take bus line 901 at Mitcham Rd/Whitehorse Rd to Dandenong Station/Foster St, and then to Phillip Island via Ventnor Beach Road/Gap Road.

Once you’re on Phillip Island, there are plenty of transportation options to get you around. You can rent a car, hire a taxi or shuttle service.

Book chauffeur service if you want to enjoy the breathtaking scenery while in town. Chauffeur service adds a touch of luxury to your trip to the MotoGP. You’ll be able to relax and enjoy the ride while someone else takes care of the driving. Plus, you’ll get to arrive in style!

Also, you can bring your bike and join the MRA Cranbourne GP Run to Phillip Island. You’ll be joining thousands of motorcyclists for an 89-kilometer ride from Cranbourne to Phillip Island via Gippsland Highway M420.

Another common way to get from the mainland to the island is by ferry. The Western Port Ferry service runs between Stony Point in Mornington Peninsula and Cowes on Phillip Island.

Australian MotoGP: Big Names

The Australian MotoGP is always an exciting event, and this year is shaping up to be no different. Remy Gardner, Andrea Dovizioso, Valentino Rossi, Jack Miller, Wayne Gardner, Casey Stoner, and Mick Doohan are all big names in the MotoGP world. They’ll all be racing this year, and each will be looking to take home the win and start their MotoGP season on a high note.

In addition to the stars list, there will also be many upcoming riders. You don’t want to miss out on what promises to be a terrific race!

A Close Look at the Teams

There’s still time to get you up to speed on the teams and players participating in this year’s matches. So we thought we’d give you a look at the teams who will be playing.

As you prepare to root for your favorite teams, remember that betting on sports makes watching even more fun!

Australia

Australia will be under pressure to defend its ranking as the defending champions. They have a strong batting line-up, with players like Steve Smith and David Warner among the best batsmen in the world. The bowling attack is also very good, with Mitchell Starc being one of the best bowlers in the world.

Australia will be looking to make it again in the World Cup winners list.

West Indies

The West Indies cricket team is the two-time defending champion of the T20 Cricket World Cup, having won in 2012 and 2016. Some big names contributing to the side’s recent success include former captain Jason Holder, Shai Hope, captain Nicholas Pooran, and Carlos Brathwaite (who hit four consecutive sixes against England).

New Zealand

Their bowling attack is very strong, with Trent Boult and Tim Southee being two of the best in the world. New Zealand will be hard to stop if they can get off to a good start in the tournament.

South Africa

The team is one of the favorites in the competition. Q de Kock is one of the most explosive batsmen in cricket today, and he will be an important asset for his team throughout the tournament.

England

It’s hard to know what England is capable of because there is no consistency in their performance. Joe Root is a quality player and former captain who could help lead his team through the competition if they make it past the group stage.

India

India has a powerful batting line-up that includes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, MS Dhoni, and Hardik Pandya. These five men alone could carry the weight of any side in this competition, but their bowling unit looks like it needs work.

Pakistan

Pakistan comes into this competition boosted by Mohammad Amir’s return from injury. Hasan Ali, Wahab Riaz, Imad Wasim, Junaid Khan, Mohammed Irfan, and Rumman Raees are the others who could potentially take wickets. Babar Azam is the man of the moment for Pakistan.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh has a young, inexperienced squad for this competition. But with so much room for development and potential, it is hard to predict how far they will go.

They have plenty of talent in Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is one of the most inconsistent teams in this competition. They have plenty of talented players in Angelo Mathews and Kusal Mendis, but they could lose their way at any point. This team relies heavily on how each individual performs. So if there are not enough contributors, Sri Lanka could be in for a long tournament.

Other teams in this year’s line-up include the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Namibia, Scotland, and Ireland.

Melbourne Cup | The Ultimate Guide to the Biggest Horse Race in Australia

The Melbourne Cup, also known as the race that stops the nation, is the biggest horse race in Australia. Every year, it takes place at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on the first Tuesday in November.

Touted the richest two-mile handicap in the world, this prestigious horse race attracts people from all over Australia and New Zealand. Also, it attracts millions of viewers to televisions and websites around the world to see who walks away with millions of dollars in prize money and bragging rights.

So what can you expect from this legendary race? What makes Melbourne Cup Day so unique? Keep reading to find out!

About Melbourne Cup

The Melbourne Cup, the premier event of the spring racing carnival, is a 3,200-meter horse race held at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Victoria. This horse racing event conducted by the Victorian racing club is one of the world’s richest turf races.

The Victoria racing club restricts the event to horses that are three years old or older and is open to both local and international horses. Besides the“ race that stops a nation,” Melbourne Cup goes by other names. Some call it Melbourne Cup Carnival; others call it Lexus Melbourne Cup Day.

Archer won the inaugural Melbourne Cup, which was run in 1861. Since that time, Makybe Diva is the only horse to have won the Cup three times (2003-05). The jockeys with the most victories are Harry White (1974, 1975, 1978, 1979) and Bobbie Lewis (1902, 1915, 1919, 1927). With 12 Melbourne Cup victories, Bart Cummings (1965–2008) holds the record for the most victories as a trainer.

Verry Elleegant is the 2021 Melbourne Cup winner and will look to defend the title in the 2022 Melbourne Cup.

It’s basically the most anticipated sporting event of the year in Australia, and it’s not hard to see why! There is $8 million in prize money awarded at this exciting annual event.

When is it?

Melbourne Cup Day is on the first Tuesday of November every year, two weeks after the Caulfield Cup, a Melbourne racing club. Gates open at 8.30 am, and the race starts at 3 pm.

This year, the Victoria racing club will hold the event on 1st November. The race itself lasts just over 3 minutes, but planning and preparations can take months!

Other horse racing events preceding the Melbourne Cup include Cox Plate, Andrew Ramsden Stakes, Hotham Handicap (Lexus Stakes), and The Bart Cummings.

What are My Best Betting Options?

Are you a punter looking to bet money on horse racing? Well, you’re in for a treat.

The Melbourne Cup is one of Australia’s biggest horse races; big odds come with that. So, gambling on this horse racing event promises big payouts. But what are the odds? And how do they work?

First off, let’s define odds. They’re a type of measurement used to show how likely something will happen. So when you hear about the odds of a particular event happening, it’s basically saying what percentage chance does this event have?

A few options are available for placing a bet on the Melbourne Cup. You can go to your local bookmaker, or you can bet online.

If you’re new to betting, it’s important to understand the different bets available. The most common are win, place, and each-way bets.

A win bet means that you think your horse will come first, while a place bet means that you think your horse will come either first or second.

An each-way bet combines a win bet and a place bet. For the “win” part, the selection must win the event or place first to give a return. For the “place” part, the selection must either win or place in one of the predefined places, such as first place or second place, to give a return.

Best Bookmakers for Melbourne Cup Carnival 2022

You’ll need to find a good bookmaker if you’re looking to get involved and have a punt on the race.

Melbourne Cup promotes over 15 legal bookmarkers. Some popular betting sites include Sportsbet, bet365, Neds, PlayUp, Unibet, Ladbrokes, Betstar, and Australian-owned WinnersBet.

Go to local bookmakers to place a bet and receive a paper ticket. Or skip the long queues with an online bookmaker via their website or app.

Research and check out some online tips to increase your chances of winning. Visit punters for the best Melbourne Cup tips. You’ll find historical trends, data, statistics, and suggestions to make a well-informed bet!

How Are Entries Selected?

You can gain entry into the Melbourne Cup in several ways.

The most common way is to purchase a horse already nominated for the race by its owner. Alternatively, owners can enter their horse into the ballot system in the hopes that their horse will be one of the 24 selected to run on race day.

Ballot-exempt horses can also enter the race, as are international horses that their trainers have nominated.

You must meet two requirements to participate in the race. First, each horse must be at least three years old. Second, each horse’s racing must have a top allocated weight of at least kilograms. Ballast adjusts the weight of the horse and the jockey to a nominated figure.

Melbourne Cup Nominations 2022

The 2022 nominations for the Melbourne Cup field will be on 25th August and will be updated weekly. The nomination is restricted to just 24 horses.

So, which jockey will make the cut this year? Well, jockey James McDonald from New Zealand, Australia’s Kerrin McEvoy, and female jockey Michelle Payne are some of the names we expect on the race day. Also, we expect trainer Chris Waller will be gracing the event.

How To Get To Flemington Racecourse

No matter how you choose to get to Flemington Racecourse, you’re in for an exciting day.

The racecourse is located just north of the Melbourne CBD, making it easy to get to no matter where you’re coming from. If you take public transportation, there are plenty of options: bus, tram, and train all run right to the racecourse. Refer to this guide if you want to get to the venue by train, tram, bus, car, or foot.

Or, if you prefer, you can take a taxi, Rideshare, or chauffeured car service.

Silver Top Taxi, Silver Service Taxi Melbourne Airport, Melbourne Silver Premium Cabs, Crown Cabs, and 13CABS are the main taxi operators from the city to Flemington Racecourse.
